Michigan State football welcomed in Boston College for a big time matchup on Saturday night inside of Spartan Stadium. The game lived up to the hype, and the Spartans won a double overtime thriller over the Eagles, 42-40.
The game was a career defining moment for Spartans QB Aidan Chiles, who arguably played the best game of his college career. Chiles finished 19-of-29 passing with 239 yards and 4 touchdowns, while rushing the ball 12 times for 39 yards (sack yards are included) and a touchdown. He did not turn the ball over.
In a post game interview with NBC, Chiles shared that the Spartans needed this game, more than anyone else, and he certainly played like it was a can’t lose affair.
