Washington Commanders reveal Monument White before Week 1 matchup vs. the New York Giants

Last month, the Washington Commanders announced their uniform schedule for the entire 2025 season. Yesterday, the team revealed the Week 1 look for the team when they host the New York Giants this Sunday at Northwest Stadium.

As planned, the team will wear Monument White. A white jersey with burgundy accents will be worn with burgundy pants and burgundy socks.

Many fans are in an uproar about not wearing gold pants at home, but this is what the team planned from the beginning, and it appears they are sticking with it.

The Commanders will wear the Monument White uniforms a total of eight times this season, but this is the only home game they will wear burgundy pants and white jerseys. The rest of the games in Monument White will be away games at the Atlanta Falcons (Week 4), Los Angeles Chargers (Week 5) Kansas City Chiefs (Week 8), Miami Dolphins (Week 11), Minnesota Vikings (Week 14), the Giants for a second time (Week 15), and the Philadelphia Eagles (Week 18).

The Commanders open and close their season wearing Monument White.
