Rasmus Neergaard-Peterson had a closing stretch that will change his life.
Needing to play his final five holes in five under, he went eagle-birdie-par-birdie-birdie at Jumeirah Golf Estates’ Earth Course to do just that, and he earned his PGA Tour card because of it.
The leading 10 players, not otherwise exempt, on the season-ending DP World Tour Race to Dubai rankings earned PGA Tour cards for 2026. Neergaard-Peterson’s heroic efforts earned him status on the PGA Tour for next year, and nine others will join him in playing golf primarily in the United States starting next year. He was the only player to move from outside of the top 10 entering the week to in.
Last year, Rasmus Hojgaard earned his card and then played his way on to the European Ryder Cup team. Robert MacIntyre and Matthieu Pavon have also had success on the PGA Tour after earning their cards via finishing top 10 in the Race to Dubai.
Here’s a look at the 10 DP World Tour players who earned PGA Tour cards on Sunday.
Marco Penge
Penge won three times on the DP World Tour this year and had a second-place finish in the Scottish Open.
Laurie Canter
Canter had a win early in the year then struggled through the middle portion, but he still played well enough late to earn a card.
Kristoffer Reitan
Reitan had one win at the Soudal Open and a handful of top-five finishes to lock up his card.
Adrien Saddier
Saddier won the Italian Open and also lost in a playoff at the BMW PGA Championship.
Alex Noren
The European Ryder Cup vice captain won the aforementioned BMW PGA Championship and will return to the PGA Tour.
John Parry
Parry finished T-16 at the Open Championship and had a win at the Mauritius Open late last year.
Haotong Li
Li won the Qatar Masters and was a big part of the story at the Open Championship, where he finished T-4.
Keita Nakajima
Three runner-up finishes propelled Nakajima to the PGA Tour after only two years on the DP World Tour.
Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen
His third-place finish knocked out Dan Brown for the last spot.
Jordan Smith
Jordan Smith was the first man out last year. This time, he squeaks in and earns his card.
