US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine briefed reporters on the continuing ceasefire with Iran.
US Central Command chief Adm. Brad Cooper said during the briefing that troops in the Middle East are “rearming” amid the ceasefire.
Cooper, who oversees US forces in the Middle East, said his “personal assessment” from his recent trips to the region, including one he took during the ceasefire, is “our troops are highly motivated.”
