NORMAN — OU men’s basketball announced its full 2025-26 men’s basketball schedule Thursday.
The Sooners open their season with an exhibition contest vs. Wisconsin on Oct. 24 at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. OU opens the regular season vs. Saint Francis on Monday, Nov. 3 at Lloyd Noble Center.
The Sooners’ student-only game this season will be against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Nov. 11 at McCasland Field House and will not be part of the OU season ticket package.
Notable nonconference true road games on the Sooners’ schedule include the second game of the season at Gonzaga on Nov. 8 and at Wake Forest on Dec. 2 as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge.
OU will play four neutral-site non-conference games including against Nebraska on Nov. 15 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, vs. Marquette on Nov. 28 in Chicago, vs. Arizona State in Phoenix and against Oklahoma State at Paycom Center.
In SEC play, each league team will face the other 15 squads at least once, and each team will twice play three others during the schedule. For the second consecutive season, the Sooners will face Missouri, Texas and Texas A&M both home and away.
OU opens SEC play by hosting Mississippi on Saturday, Jan. 3. All nine of the Sooners’ SEC opponents that will visit Lloyd Noble Center this season made the 2025 NCAA Tournament, including five that advanced to at least the Sweet 16.
Most midweek contest dates, times and TV information will be announced by the conference office at a later date. The SEC Tournament will be played at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena for the fourth consecutive season from March 11-15.
The Sooners rank No. 6 nationally in On3’s Team Transfer Portal Index. In a 247Sports ranking, three of the Sooners’ incoming transfers rank among the SEC’s top 11 (Xzayvier Brown at No. 8, Derrion Reid at No. 9 and Nijel Pack at No. 11), and a fourth (Tae Davis) ranks No. 19.
OU also announced new courtside seats are being added for the 2025-26 season along the south baseline of Lloyd Noble Center.
