Ole Miss football added an in-state recruit to its 2026 class.

Madison-Ridgeland Academy wide receiver Case Thomas announced his commitment to the Rebels on Dec. 12 from a social media post.

Thomas, a three-star recruit, picked up an offer from Ole Miss on Dec. 7 and committed to new Ole Miss coach Pete Golding’s program. He held other offers from Louisiana Tech, Jackson State and Akron, among others.

Golding was promoted from defensive coordinator when Lane Kiffin left Ole Miss and accepted the LSU coaching job on Nov. 30.

Thomas has started three seasons at MRA and comes off a senior year in which he tallied 1,215 receiving yards and nine touchdowns on 67 receptions. He has a career total of 3,480 receiving yards and 36 touchdowns.

MRA ended the 2025 season 9-2 and fell to Jackson Academy in the MAIS 4A-DI semifinals.

With Thomas’ commitment, Ole Miss has 19 players in the 2026 class and is ranked 10th among SEC teams in the 247Sports Composite. The Rebels are at No. 22 in the national rankings.
