DRAPER, Utah, Sept. 5 — The No. 16 Corner Canyon Chargers lead the No. 23 Liberty Lions, 7-0, in the first quarter.
Corner Canyon is the top-ranked program in the state of Utah while Liberty is Arizona’s No. 1 team. Something has to give in Draper, and the winner will be well-positioned to potentially run the table in their own state.
For Corner Canyon, it could be another step toward the Top 10 in the coming weeks. Liberty, meanwhile, is looking to establish itself more firmly on the national scene.
Beating the Chargers in Utah would be a good start.
