Kyle Hamilton makes NFL and Ravens’ history with dominating performance vs. the Browns

Kyle Hamilton is arguably the most impactful defensive back in the NFL. If not for his Week 11 opponent, Myles Garrett, playing on a level not seen in decades, the Ravens’ star defensive back might be the runaway favorite for the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year.

Baltimore parted ways with Odafe Oweh, sacrificing pressure off the edge to get Hamilton’s former Notre Dame teammate, friend, and college mentor, Alohi Gilman. Gilman’s arrival, coupled with Malaki Stark’s maturity, has allowed Hamilton to move closer to the line of scrimmage, becoming the Ravens’ positional STAR and Swiss Army Knife.

Hamilton dominated Cleveland on Sunday and, in the process, made NFL and Ravens’ team history.

Hamilton recorded nine tackles, including one sack, 3 TFL (career high), 2 PD, and 1 FF in the Week 11 win at Cleveland.

Hamilton is the first DB and the second NFL player (former Ravens LB Peter Boulware) since 1999 to post a stat line with at least nine tackles, one sack, 3 TFL, 2 PD, and 1 FF in a single game.
