No. 9 Notre Dame has updated its athlete availability ahead of the matchup with No. 23 Pitt.
Tight end Cooper Flanagan (left Achilles) and wide receiver Jaden Greathouse (right thigh) are out. Greathouse has been dealing with his injury for most of the season.
All other athletes listed on the two-deep are available.
While Flanagan is mostly a depth player, Greathouse was expected to lead the wide receiver corps. Instead, others such as Malachi Fields, Will Pauling and Jordan Faison have stepped up.
If those three players have a strong effort against Pitt, Notre Dame’s playoff push will remain intact.
The @NDFootball availability for today’s game at Pitt (12 p.m. ET, ABC):
TE Cooper Flanagan (left achilles) and WR Jaden Greathouse (right thigh) are out.
All other student-athletes on the two-deep this week are available.
