How Cowboys will honor Marshawn Kneeland with helmet decals

Marshawn Kneeland died 11 days ago. Now his Dallas Cowboys are set to play their first game since his passing when they take on the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football.

A Week 10 bye set up a primetime tribute to the 24-year-old defensive end who scored his first NFL touchdown in his final NFL game. The Cowboys will honor their former teammate by wearing t-shirts to honor him in Week 11. They’ll also don player-designed helmet decals to help preserve Kneeland’s memory through the rest of the 2025 season.

The Cowboys are playing in Las Vegas Monday, but will return to Texas for a showdown with the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 12. The team has planned a moment of silence and video tribute to Kneeland for its first game at AT&T Stadium without him.
