A host of Glenn student-athletes were honored when the Piedmont Triad 5-A/6-A All-Conference teams for the fall sports season were announced.
Bobcats football players named to the all-conference football team were Brady Robinson, Christian Campbell, Joel Hayes, Isiah Bufford, Terrance Daniel, Semaj Galloway and Garrett Wilson. Oak Grove coach Rob Creason was named Coach of the Year, Oak Grove’s Jaiquan Cly was named Offensive Player of the Year, and Oak Grove’s Eli Fulcher was Specialist Player of the Year. North Davidson’s Hunter Bishop was named Lineman of the Year.
Glenn’s varsity boys’ soccer team had their best season ever, finishing with an 18-2-3 record, and Aiden Bernadino, Eduardo de la Rosa Gonzalez, Jason Segura, Dylan Vasquez and Kyle Velediaz were named to the all-conference team. Glenn coach Sean Sexton was named Coach of the Year. The Bobcats’ Darey Lopez Martinez was named Co-Offensive Player of the Year along with Mount Tabor’s Bowen Blackwell. The Spartans’ Kai Kishida was named Defensive Player of the Year.
In girls’ volleyball, the Ladycats’ Kendall Fraas and Savanna Parson were named to the all-conference team. Oak Grove coach Sissy Rausch was named Coach of the Year. Oak Grove’s Kate Bertschi and Chloe Smith were the Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year.
