After a position battle in training camp and just one game into the season, former Iowa Hawkeyes quarterback Brendan Sullivan will be getting his chance at reps with a College Football Playoff contender, Tulane.
Sullivan, who departed Iowa following the 2024 season, joined Tulane and spent training camp competing against former BYU quarterback Jake Retzlaff. The two were tight in a battle throughout camp, but Retzlaff won the starting job in Week 1.
Moving forward to this week, it has been reported that Tulane is going to play both quarterbacks, Sullivan and Retzlaff, this weekend in their matchup against South Alabama.
