The Atlanta Falcons have released their final injury report ahead of Sunday’s season-opening divisional showdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Wide receiver Darnell Mooney has been listed as questionable for Week 1, which shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone who’s following the situation.
The veteran wideout was a limited participant for all three days of practice. On Thursday, Mooney told reporters that his playing status was still up in the air.
“It’s a game-time decision,” Mooney told ESPN’s Marc Raimondi. “Got some things we got to look at at the end of the week, but like I said, I’m feeling good.”
Aside from Mooney, the Falcons ruled out rookie offensive tackle Jack Nelson (calf) and safety DeMarcco Hellams (hamstring) for Sunday’s game. Nine players in total were listed on the team’s Friday injury report.
Defensive lineman David Onyemata and edge Leonard Floyd were given the day off for rest, while cornerback Clark Phillips III was a full participant. Check out the Falcons’ final Week 1 injury report below.
