The Miami Dolphins signed cornerback A.J. Green off the Los Angeles Rams’ practice squad, the team announced Wednesday.
Green, 27, is in his sixth NFL season after spending his first four with the Cleveland Browns. He spent much of the 2024 offseason with the Minnesota Vikings before joining the Rams last November.
The veteran corner has appeared in 36 career games, but just two since leaving the Browns after the 2023 season. He has two career interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and 40 tackles.
Miami has been on the hunt for cornerbacks for most of 2025 after parting with Kendall Fuller and Jalen Ramsey during the offseason and losing multiple players to season-ending injuries. The latest was JuJu Brents, who was placed on injured reserve to make room for Green after suffering a foot injury that will require surgery. He joins corners Kader Kohou, Artie Burns, and Storm Duck on IR.
The Dolphins expect Rasul Douglas to return after the bye from an injury that sidelined him last two weeks. He’ll resume his role as a starter on the outside opposite Jack Jones with rookie Jason Marshall Jr, Ethan Bonner, and Green rounding out the depth chart at corner.
