😅 Social media roast Atlético-MG after another runners-up finish

Atlético-MG lost the final of the 2025 Copa Conmebol Sudamericana this Saturday (22), being defeated by Lanús in the penalty shootout (5 x 4).

After Vitor Hugo missed the decisive penalty in Paraguay, social media did not forgive another runner-up finish for Galo.

After all, Atlético-MG lost the 2024 Libertadores to Botafogo and the 2024 Copa do Brasil to Flamengo.

Galo’s idol, Hulk, was the main “target” of the jokes on social media.

Even the low technical quality of the final – pointed out by many as the worst in the history of football – became part of the rivals’ jokes.
