Uniform matchup is a familiar one for Packers vs. Vikings in Week 12

The NFC North showdown between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field on Sunday will feature traditional uniforms for both teams.

As expected, the Packers will wear their primary home uniform, featuring gold helmets with the iconic “G” logo, green jerseys, gold pants and green socks. Sunday will mark the third straight week the Packers have worn the green and gold primary uniform, including last week’s win in New York over the Giants.

The Vikings will counter with purple helmets and white jerseys, the team’s primary road attire. It’s unclear if the Vikings will wear white or purple pants — Minnesota has worn purple pants on the road three times and white pants on the road two times this season.

Expect to see purple. The Vikings have worn purple pants at Lambeau Field during every season since 2013, or a stretch of 12 straight seasons. Minnesota is 2-1 when wearing purple pants on the road this season.

The Packers are 2-1 when wearing their primary uniform at home this season.
