Kyoji Horiguchi is back. After nine years away, the decorated Japanese champion made his thunderous UFC return by running through Tagir Ulanbekov on Saturday at UFC Qatar.

Horiguchi (35–5, 1 NC) cracked the Russian contender with a wicked body kick early in the third round, swarmed and grabbed a neck, then choked Ulanbekov (17-3) unconscious.

Afterward, a fired-up Horiguchi seized the mic and called out his American Top Team teammate, UFC flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja.
