Tennessee football legend and Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning is in attendance at Brentwood Academy for his son Marshall’s game as a part of Baylor School against BA on Sept. 5.
Marshall Manning is an eighth-grader who plays quarterback for Baylor and enrolled at the school over the summer.
Marshall Manning is a part of the Class of 2030, so any future recruiting is years away for prospective schools should he follow in the footsteps of his father, grandfather Archie, uncle Eli and cousin Arch.
Big names at Brentwood Academy for tonight’s Baylor game. #Vols coach Josh Heupel is here to watch a star-studded night that includes 5-star uncommitted 2027 RB David Gabriel Georges.

There are few schools in Tennessee with a better recent track record than Baylor on the football field. The Red Raiders have reached the Division II-AAA state championship in the last three seasons, including a state title in 2022.
Baylor began the 2025 season at 2-0 with wins over two schools from out of state and is among the state title favorites in Tennessee’s largest private-school classification.
Also in attendance for Baylor-Brentwood Academy: Tennessee football coach Josh Heupel, whose program has several recruiting targets on both teams.
