A major boost is on the horizon for Liverpool as they gear up for their Premier League encounter this weekend. The Reds are poised to welcome their first-choice goalkeeper, Alisson Becker, back between the posts, much to the relief of the Anfield faithful.
Manager Arne Slot has provided a positive update, indicating that the Brazilian international is in line for a return. After successfully reintegrating into training, Alisson’s final hurdle will be a concluding session. Provided he comes through it without any issues, he is expected to be named in the starting lineup.

This return marks the end of a frustrating spell on the sidelines for the keeper. His injury occurred in late September during a Champions League clash against Turkish outfit Galatasaray. Prior to that setback, Alisson had guarded the net in nine matches across all competitions this season, managing to keep two clean sheets.
His presence will be a welcome reinforcement as Liverpool prepares to host Nottingham Forest at Anfield this Saturday. Currently positioned eighth in the league table with 18 points from their first 11 outings, the return of their defensive stalwart could provide the stability needed to climb the standings.
