LEXINGTON — Kentucky football quarterback Zach Calzada exited the game against Ole Miss on Saturday due to an injury and didn’t return.
Calzada reportedly was dealing with a shoulder injury when he departed in the fourth quarter. UK wound up losing, 30-23, at Kroger Field. Calzada finished with 149 yards on 15-of-30 passing.
“He was hurt,” UK coach Mark Stoops said, offering no further specifics on Calzada’s injury.
Redshirt freshman Cutter Boley replaced Calzada for the Wildcats’ final two drives and was 1-of-3 for 38 yards.
