Dan Orlovsky picks the Ravens to win the Super Bowl

·

NFL talking season is now over, and as per annual custom, it ends with Super Bowl predictions. As we draw closer and closer to kicking off the new season, an increasing number of NFL pundits are picking the Baltimore Ravens to win it all. Several media outlets have recognized the Ravens as the team with the best overall talent and depth, top to bottom.

This is becoming a popular opinion, and ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky, one of the more insightful National Football League analysts around, now shares it.

“It’s time,” Orlovsky said as he explained his pick.

“I don’t think there is an organization or a team that’s under more pressure or scrutiny than this group. They have a head coach who’s won a Super Bowl a quarterback with multiple MVPs, they have five first round picks on defense, and the best roster in the AFC.”

Perhaps the most entertaining part of this clip is the end, when Orlovsky says the same sentence twice, first as a question, in an uncertain tone:

“I took the Ravens to win the Super Bowl?”

Then he repeats it, as a definitive statement:

“I took the Ravens to win the Super Bowl.”

The pressure is thus ramped up even higher now.
