A seismic shift in strategy could be brewing at Paris Saint-Germain, with Nigerian striking sensation Victor Osimhen emerging as a primary target for the French giants. According to renowned journalist Ekrem Konur, the Parisian “cador” of Ligue 1 is closely monitoring the 26-year-old Galatasaray forward.
This represents a significant reversal from the previous summer, when PSG’s interest was initially noted but ultimately vetoed by manager Luis Enrique. However, the underwhelming performances of current striker GonΓ§alo Ramos have forced a tactical rethink. It is now reported that Enrique has warmed to the idea of bringing Osimhen to the Parc des Princes and is open to a major move for the player in the upcoming summer window.

A transfer in the current winter window, however, has been firmly ruled out, with Galatasaray refusing to entertain any offers for their star mid-season. The Turkish club is in a strong negotiating position, with Osimhen under a long-term contract that binds him to the club until June 2029.
Now in his second season with Galatasaray, the Nigerian international has continued to demonstrate the consistent, high-level performances that make him so coveted. His formidable reputation is reflected in his market valuation of β¬75 million and an annual salary of β¬18.75 million, setting the stage for a potential blockbuster transfer saga in the summer.
