The Houston Rockets look to bounce back from their first loss in quite some time after losing a contest to a Western Conference rival this past Friday (No. 21) night as they make the trip to the state of Arizona to take on the Phoenix Suns at their home arena of Mortgage Matchup Center.
They will have to do it with fewer healthy players than usual, however, with several important names to be found on the injury report ahead of the Monday (Nov. 24) evening tilt. We expect the Rockets to win this one even so, but some upset potential is on the table given how well Phoenix has been playing of late.
Records, standing, and streaks
At present, the Rockets have a 10-4 record, which puts them in the Western Conference standings’ fourth-place slot.
The Suns have won three in a row, giving them a 11-6 record and the West’s sixth-place spot.
What happened in the last game for each team?
Houston lost to the Denver Nuggets112-109 at home.
Phoenix beat the San Antonio Spurs 111-102, also at home.
Injuries
For Houston, Kevin Durant (personal reasons), Jae’Sean Tate (personal reasons), Tari Eason (oblique), Dorian Finney-Smith (ankle) and Fred VanVleet (ACL) are out, and Steven Adams (ankle) is questionable.
For Phoenix, no report had yet been submitted, but Jalen Green (hamstring) and Grayson Allen (quad) are likely out, and Rasheer Fleming (ankle), and Ryan Dunn (wrist) are likely day-to-day.
